Dept Overview:
The Partner Marketing team sits within the Global Third Party Relations department. We are a team of experienced leaders and marketers whose mission is to help every gamer we reach find new PlayStation nostalgia with third party games. We develop opportunities to market these experiences with our brand and to build long-term value for PlayStation and our publishing partners. We also build relationships with 3P publishers by understanding their portfolio, evangelising their products and delivering best in class partner marketing service.
Role Overview:
As a Global Partner Marketing Manager you are responsible for shaping the global partner marketing strategy for your assigned partner titles and publishers. Your objective is three-fold. For gamers, you’ll introduce them to your games and fuel their passion to play on PlayStation. For publishers, you’ll make the marketing portion of the publishing experience on the platform as clear, effective and efficient as possible. For PlayStation, you’ll lead one of the largest marketing partnerships for the company with a focus on driving key business KPIs.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and execute best-in-class partner marketing strategies with your assigned publishers
- Collaborate with central cross-functional and local territory marketing teams on integrated go-to-market plans and post-launch live services plans
- Work with internal business units to integrate priority games in broader portfolio marketing campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels
- Manage direct reports across the globe in fulfilling contractual marketing commitments to priority partners
- Manage digital events with the Social & PR teams to debut compelling announcements and content
- Partner with 3P Account Management and PS Store commerce teams to build relationships with publishers and provide guidance for improving their game’s performance via PlayStation’s ecosystem
- Challenge the norm, improve critical processes and share best practices with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide regular reports to leadership on campaign results and progress towards objectives
What we’re looking for:
- Proven years of Product Marketing experience within gaming preferred
- Passion for sports games and understanding of the FIFA audience
- Track record of innovation
- Experience with data-driven decision making
- Leadership experience in managing and mentoring a team
- Excellent communication skills to distill complex problems into digestible and actionable info
- Excellent stakeholder management in setting clear expectations across many groups in a large global company and with many external partners
