Global Strategy Manager, Reporting into Marketing

Global Strategy Marketing Manager (London Based)

Role Purpose:

2K is looking for a passionate and self-motivated Manager to develop a deeper understanding of our gaming audiences for new gaming franchises and optimise Marketing budgets, investments, and growth strategies. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing Strategy, Territory, Analytics, and Growth Strategy teams to analyze consumer data, identify trends in the gaming industry, and optimise 2K’s global Marketing investments.
The Manager of Global Marketing Insights is a new role and will be based in London, UK and report into the Director of Global Marketing Insights (based in Novato, California, USA).

Responsibilities:

• Partner with internal and external research teams to identify, summarize, and communicate gamer trends that will affect Marketing and Territory teams, especially as it relates to 2K’s new gaming franchises
• Work collaboratively with our Marketing Strategy, Territory, Growth, and Analytics teams
• Analyze addressable audience sizes, growth opportunities, and marketing optimisation strategies across global territories
• Create and distribute presentations, reports and/or dashboards that summarize the development and ongoing optimisation of Marketing budgets in a clear and precise manner
• Translate global audience insights (like brand health) into actionable strategies for local territories\
• Help Marketing teams develop a customer-centric approach to audience prioritisation, budgeting, and
  sales strategy

Examples Current of Projects:

• Working with Territory Marketing and Growth Strategy leads to identify key growth markets and optimise Marketing investments accordingly
• Analyze global audiences for our new gaming franchises, creating actionable insights that will help Marketing teams better understand the needs and motivations of target consumers

Key Skills and Requirements:

• You have a strategic mind, knowledge of consumer marketing and business operations, and comfort in working collaboratively to drive complex strategies and analyses.
• You should be able to independently form and communicate hypotheses and feel comfortable taking ownership to partner with teams in pursuit of answers.
• Solution-oriented, creative problem solvers, and self-starters with passion and enthusiasm for driving results tend to succeed at 2K!
• Professional experience in Marketing or business strategy and operations, growth marketing, finance, or management consulting
• Proven analytical skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
• Comfort working autonomously; a “self-starter”
• Ability to develop strong, open, and collaborative working relationships by gaining trust to successfully manage and deliver against expectations
• Ability to juggle multiple projects, stakeholders, and time zones\
• Innate ability to respectfully challenge the status quo
• Passionate about gaming is a bonus
