GLOBAL INFLUENCER MARKETING GO-TO-MARKET MANAGER - (12 Month FTC)

What We Need:
An experienced influencer marketing professional with a strong service-oriented mindset to facilitate go-to-market execution of our global campaign strategies across our EMEA, ANZ and ASIA regions, as well as contribute to the development of the global campaign strategies.
What You Will Do:
- Reporting to the Director of Global Influencer Marketing based in Novato, California, you will serve as a primary project manager and facilitator of global influencer marketing campaign execution in 2K’s regional markets worldwide for 2K’s wide portfolio of titles.
- Serve as primary internal subject matter expert for global influencer marketing, partnering closely with territory social/influencer managers and providing on-going guidance and direction as needed to all of 2K’s local market teams worldwide.
- Contribute to the development of global campaign strategies and have a strong focus on managing the tactical execution of those strategies, ensuring consistent campaign execution throughout 2K’s regional markets.
- Review and approve go-to-market plans, ideas and ad-hoc requests from territory social/influencer managers.
- Assist territory teams with driving the influencer affiliate marketing program (IAM) in their local markets.
- Direct territory teams to set realistic objectives, and monitor, measure, report and analyze the results of 2K’s local go-to-market influencer campaigns. Leverage insights and audience feedback to improve 2K’s influencer marketing programs.
- Assist territory teams with influencer list management, legal, and finance tasks as needed to further go-to-market campaign executions.
- As needed, manage and drive external vendors supporting 2K’s influencer marketing efforts, including but not limited to influencer marketing agencies, talent agencies and freelance contributors. Accurately maintain budgets and oversee execution of agency work and prioritization of projects as needed.
- Collaborate with Social Media Manager colleagues as needed to provide compelling influencer-led content that will engage fans on our brands’ social media channels.
- Have a willingness to complete any other reasonable activity required by the Director of Global Influencer Marketing or the Communications team.
Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:
2K is looking for an influencer marketing professional with experience launching video games, ongoing lifecycle management, and a personal passion for 2K franchises such as Borderlands, NBA 2K, XCOM, Civilization, WWE 2K and more. They have a service-oriented mindset and are seasoned project managers capable of motivating, directing, and holding teams accountable for delivering against global campaign plans. They have experience with (or at least a strong interest in) taking a data-driven approach to influencer marketing. They are versed in and have experience working with social and content platforms like YouTube, Twitch, Mixer, Huya, Douyu, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, and have collaborated closely with public relations and social media professionals in the past.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or a related area of study preferred.
- A minimum of 5+ years of influencer marketing or related work experience, including experience launching video games. PR/marketing agency experience and knowledge of video games industry is strongly preferred.
- A demonstrated track record of managing and executing well-reasoned, strategic plans to completion within scope and budget and achieving set goals.
- Strong passion for video games, especially action/adventure and story-based games, as well as sports games.
- Excellent organization, interpersonal, and written and verbal communications skills. Ability to build strong, lasting professional relationships with internal partner groups and individuals.
- Ability to anticipate necessary next actions and accept responsibility for moving projects toward completion.
- Strong PC skills, expert knowledge of Twitch/YouTube/Mixer and each platform’s unique features. Familiarity with social listening, video analytics, and influencer marketing tools like Spiketrap, Synthesio, Tubular, StreamHatchet, and CreatorIQ is strongly preferred.
