Our department is responsible for selecting the right supplier at the right price based on Ubisoft’s needs for goods and services.
Our team’s mission is to reduce costs, add value and quality to our internal clients, assess and control external risks.
To reach its objectives, the procurement department must act as a business partner in the definition of needs and the purchasing strategy, in the negotiation tactics and in the supplier relationship management.
Your role:
Part of the global procurement team, the Global IT Procurement Manager is in charge of managing a growing team of IT buyers. The current seven team members are based in Paris, Montreal and soon, Shanghai (being recruited). They are in charge of procuring goods and services for IT Department projects and operations.
Your client:
The Ubisoft IT Department has more than 1,000 team members located globally, with a strong focus on Montreal, Paris, Bucharest and Shanghai.
The IT Department provides a wide range of solutions to all Ubisoft teams, whether they work in game development, distribution, or headquarters.
Your missions:
- Manage, recruit, and drive the team of buyers toward excellence in Quality, Cost and Risk Management
- Act as a major interlocutor to the IT Department to maintain a constructive and strategic relationship
- Constantly assess and adapt resources, process and policies in a continuous improvement mindset
- Provide support and/or take over high stake negotiations when needed
- Demonstrate leadership with internal stakeholders, collaborate with them to understand requirements and work on solutions in a context of constant and fast pace technological changes
- Provide accurate reporting to the HQ Procurement Director
- Collaborate with the global procurement network
Qualifications
- Master’s degree required with focus on Procurement & Sourcing
- 10 years demonstrated procurement experience required, including team management in an international context
- Fluent in English and French
- Excellent oral communications
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to work to established priorities
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
- Expert negotiations and vendor management skills
- Experience in media and entertainment industry is a plus
