As the Digital Marketing Manager for Overwatch, this position will play a key role in bringing our social strategy to life for Overwatch 2. This person will assist in overseeing the brand social strategy for Overwatch, collaborate regularly with our regional teams and franchise social leads, as well as be a consultant for departments across the organization. The ideal candidate will have deep social media experience at an agency or on the client-side, demonstrated strategic prowess, and brought to life smart and clever ideas.

As our franchises expand into new realms, so too must our social reach, engagement, and conversation. We are seeking a candidate who will help lead Overwatch into a new era through social media.
This role will primarily work with the Sr Digital Marketing Manager, franchise teams, and agency partners. The ideal candidate will assist in optimizing the Overwatch 2 social strategy, developing creative playbooks, and key presentations to further the franchise's approach to social media.
This position requires experience developing and executing a strategic approach to social platforms for a major title or brand, team, or agency leadership, in addition to familiarity with influencers and engaging with players and fans.
In addition to knowledge of and passion for the Overwatch universe, the ideal candidate will be an expert in digital marketing, knowledgeable about the gaming space, and a proactive self-starter who is constantly looking to push the envelope with innovative and clever ideas.

Responsibilities:
Support and execute our Overwatch 2 social strategy, including, but not limited to: Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Twitch, and Snapchat.
Play a key role in social creative ideation, help manage production, and ensure executional success among internal and external creative teams
Assist in managing Overwatch social media channels
Develop and manage influencer strategies that align with major marketing initiatives and cross functional activations.
Partner with internal creative teams and manage an external agency partner
Assist in relationships with social media platforms and digital partners
Partner with internal creative teams and manage an external agency partner
Oversee the editorial calendar and publish content to Overwatch social media channels.
Assist with real time publishing and engagement during live events
Listen and respond to consumers on our owned channels
Work effectively with internal cross-functional teams including Commercial, Consumer Marketing, Growth Marketing, Public Relations, Events, and Partnerships to drive 360 campaigns
Drive weekly social media reporting, insights, and delivery through the use of analytics and CMS tools, including Sprinklr
Utilize learnings to inform and support the creative approach to reach KPIs across platforms and campaigns
Requirements:
5+ years experience in social media at an agency or on the client-side as a Social Strategist or Digital Marketer
Self-starter mentality and track-record for clever social ideas
Proficiency in collaborating within a large organization and 3rd party agencies/partners
Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail
Experience in providing creative feedback for social content
Passion for entertainment, social media, youth culture, gaming and the Overwatch brand
Excellent verbal, organizational, and technology skills
Knowledge of the latest platforms and technologies and desire to identify opportunities for strategic brand involvement
Understanding of brand strategy and ability to write persuasive POVs
Expert knowledge of key social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter) and associated analytics programs and tools like – Sprinklr
