As the Global Digital Marketing Manager for unannounced Warcraft mobile titles, you will be the driving force behind the social strategy, creative development, and execution across social media platforms. While working closely with the Warcraft franchise social lead, this role is supported by internal creative departments, an external creative agency, and platform management tools.

As our Warcraft franchise expands into more realms, so too must our social reach, engagement, and conversation. We are seeking a candidate who will help lead Azeroth into a new era through social media.
In this role, you will pioneer the launch of new channels, lead development and execution of our social strategy, and manage creative resources to bring these platforms to life. You will be a key voice in fostering community among our players in both every day and major moments alike.
In addition to knowledge of and passion for the Warcraft universe, the ideal candidate will be an expert in digital marketing, knowledgeable about the mobile gaming space, and a proactive self-starter who is constantly looking to push the envelope with innovative and clever ideas.

Responsibilities:
- Lead social media strategy development and execution for the unannounced titles across social platforms including: Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitch, and Snapchat
- Bring new and big ideas to the table, as well as collaboratively build on others’ concepts to deliver game engagement and build passion for the universe
- Collaborate with internal creative teams and manage an external agency partner
- Work closely with international digital teams, ensuring they are on board with global plans and are executing initiatives on strategy
- Partner with internal cross-functional teams including Commercial, Consumer Marketing, Growth Marketing, Public Relations, Events, and Partnerships to drive 360 campaigns
- Oversee the social editorial calendar and align key stakeholders
- Drive weekly social media reporting through the use of analytics tools such as Sprinklr
- Utilize learnings to inform and support the creative approach to reach KPIs across platforms and campaigns
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in social media at an agency or on the client-side as a Social Strategist, Digital Marketer, or Community Manager
- Self-starter mentality and track-record for clever social ideas
- Proficiency in collaborating within a large organization
- Experience working with 3 rd Party agencies/partners
- Experience in providing creative feedback for social content
- Passion for gaming, advertising, social media, and all things Warcraft
- Excellent verbal, organizational, and technology skills
- Knowledge of the latest platforms and technologies and desire to identify opportunities for strategic brand involvement
- Understanding of brand strategy and ability to write persuasive POVs
- Working knowledge of social platforms and associated analytics tools such as Sprinklr
