Avalanche Studios Group is based in Stockholm, New York, Malmö, and Liverpool, and spans three creative divisions: Avalanche Studios, Expansive Worlds, and Systemic Reaction.
We are now looking for an experienced DEI Leader to join a fun, top-tier team that crafts cutting edge open-world games.

The Position
We are seeking an experienced DEI professional, to strengthen DEI and create an evolved employee engagement model. You will define strategy, framework, policies, workflows, and operating models for DEI together with us globally, across three markets and multiple divisions.

You will be a part of the people team and your closest team consists of talented and experienced HR professionals, who are all working towards enabling the organization to do better games in a better way, from a people point of view.
What you’ll do
- Set the vision for DEI at Avalanche. You will be responsible for defining strategy, framework, roadmap and goals for delivering and implementing the vision. You will lead us to ensure engagement, connectivity, simplification and compliance within the DEI space, and work with continuous feedback loops to ongoingly strengthen and develop the area.
- You will craft and lay out global and local programs that will support the long terms DEI vision.
- You will lead and advise stakeholders on DEI-related topics and initiatives. Stakeholders will include our leaders, employees, current DEI workgroup and Employee Resource Groups, and HR team. You will provide thought leadership, coach, challenge, and give concrete input to our operations.
- You will develop, manage and deliver the DEI content and learning experiences for all employees across our four locations, virtually and in-person.
- Work towards the overall goal to provide a work environment which is inclusive, positive and respectful, and free from all forms of discrimination and harassment.
Who you are
- You have 5+ years' experience of successful delivery and impact in the DEI space.
- An ability to envision, design and deliver innovative objectives, roadmaps and solutions addressing areas within inclusion, equity, diversity and belonging.
- You have knowledge of global program development in the areas of diversity, equity, inclusion, organizational development and change management.
- Experience of project management, with proven impact.
- Experience in managing stakeholder groups across matrixed organization and across countries/multiple locations.
- Experienced communicator, presenter and capability-builder, able to collaborate effectively with smaller and larger groups and able to motivate, inspire and train smaller and larger audiences.
- Able to establish quantitative and qualitative measures, actively manage, analyze and communicate relevant data to drive decision-making throughout the organization.
- Basic knowledge of Labour Law, including the Discrimination Act.
- Fluent in English.
