Global Corporate Communications ManagerSummary
The Corporate Communications Manager is responsible for creating and implementing innovative internal communications content and programs that actively engage internal audiences. Reporting to the General Manager, Group Communications, the Corporate Communications Manager will develop and execute communication strategies that create excitement, drive engagement, shape culture and enhance corporate reputation.
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to execute communications plans, strong writing skills and a natural ability to think strategically while delivering results. This role works collaboratively with internal stakeholders such as Corporate Affairs, People & Culture, Diversity & Inclusion, Sustainability, Digital & Creative and executive leadership.What You'll Do
- Lead the implementation of the Group communications strategy to foster strong employee engagement, positively influence culture and drive the business strategy
- Coordinate and implement enterprise-wide communications, including writing and contributing to a range of communications collateral such as written communications, presentations, executive comms, podcasts and videos
- Plan, design and execute innovative internal employee events and company-wide meetings such as financial results and strategy updates to boost alignment and engagement across the organisation
- Provide communications support for Group functions
- Develop communication strategies aligned with the short and long-term business goals across Aristocrat
- Using analytics, track and report success of all communications activities and implement improvements
- Manage Aristocrat global communications calendar and work cross-functionally to create relevant content for employee communication channels
- Maintain/evolve enterprise-wide communication channels (i.e., website/intranet/e-newsletters etc.) to help translate and communicate important goals, and improve employee engagement, including managing KPIs and content plans for each channel
- Implement company-wide processes for creating and distributing content to employees in a manner that promotes action, engagement, and internal advocacy
- Establish guidance and guardrails for internal communication channels with a focus on data-driven continuous improvement
- In collaboration with the People & Culture team and General Manager Group Communications, support employee engagement through communications efforts, events, learning and development opportunities, advocacy & community initiatives, our sustainability program, culture & engagement surveys and more, to help ensure a connection to Aristocrat’s culture, vision, strategic goals, and overall business and recruiting objectives
- Work with the People & Culture, Talent Acquisition Teams and Digital & Creative teams to develop employer branding content that is inspiring, informing, and engaging for relevant media, social media, website, intranet, and internal events or presentations
- Drive the social media program for Aristocrat's corporate accounts to highlight internal engagement priorities e.g., diversity & inclusion, sustainability and wellbeing. Support the Executive leadership team to profile these on through their own channels, as relevant
- Media Monitoring – including sharing daily summaries to senior leaders
- Support the broader Group Communication team goals and activities as and when required
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
- 4-7 years of relevant communications experience; work experience specifically in developing internal communications plans and strategies preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills for a variety of audiences and formats (e.g., corporate emails, e-newsletters, executive speeches, web copy, social content) with adherence to Aristocrat brand standards.
- Ability to synthesize information and capture the key points.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite of applications.
- Ability to manage and prioritise competing demands and multiple projects, with an outcomes focused approach.
- Strong Project management skills and event planning experience.
- Communications technology experience is a plus.
