Who We Are:
2K publishes some of the most popular video game franchises on the planet, including Borderlands, BioShock, Mafia, NBA 2K, WWE 2K, XCOM, and Sid Meier's Civilization.
What We Need:
2K is looking for a Global Content Manager with strong copywriting skills to contribute to high-profile online marketing campaigns for upcoming AAA sports games. As an individual contributor within a multidisciplinary team, and under the direction of the Senior Manager of Global Content, you will create and execute against web and other content strategies for both pre- and post-release marketing campaigns.
As a Global Content Manager, you will also facilitate communication between various departments to help shape our web experiences and ensure that they represent everything our brands have to offer. Your input will be vital as we determine how best to market our upcoming sports games and evolve our web platform in preparation for future campaigns.

What You Will Do:
- Write and edit copy that transforms game positioning and feature details into compelling web content
- Follow approval process for the publishing of web content through Brand, Development, and Legal teams
- Use content management system to deploy written content, trailers, screenshots, and other assets on websites
- Monitor and evaluate marketplace trends to ensure that 2K websites evolve and continue to be competitive over time
- Work with contracted translators to ensure that web content is published in all supported languages
- Analyze web content performance to inform the direction of future content initiatives
- Coordinate content support and promotion with Social Media and Community teams
- Provide editorial support for other teams at 2K as needed
Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:
We are looking for someone who is passionate about sports and/or sports video games and who understands and can deliver the sort of content that gets fans excited both pre- and post-release. This detail-oriented individual must have the capacity to understand and always think about the big picture to make decisions that are aligned with the overall global marketing strategy.
- Bachelor's Degree from accredited university
- Impeccable copywriting skills with a knack for tailoring content to specific audiences
- Solid understanding of and passion for video games
- Self-starter with ability to prioritize multiple projects and work to strict deadlines
- Strong communication skills with a team-first attitude
- Proficient at both giving and working with constructive feedback
- Previous games industry experience is a plus, but not required
