Overview
Arkadium is seeking an experienced General Manager who can run our browser-based game business. This position will have P&L responsibility and will help shape and accelerate our corporate strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to work across disciplines to further execute our growth trajectory. In this position, you will have the ability to define and optimize our product roadmap, as well as coach and professionally develop a team of product owners.
This position is based in New York, but will remain remote until Fall 2021. If you do not live in the New York Metropolitan Area, you will be required to travel to NY at least once per quarter.
Responsibilities
- Own the P&L for our browser-based products and properties
- Improve our Customer Value Journey (CVJ) KPI’s by launching new initiatives to optimize metrics
- Drive user LTV by launching and continually optimizing our subscription offering
- Identify and recommend software and tools that will drive business results
- Work with the Marketing Team to optimize our user acquisition channels
- Help define and execute inspiring product visions for our browser-based product lines
- Balance product stability with rapid iterations and continuous iterations
- Set a high bar for Product expectations (i.e. quality and end user value)
- Consistently seek user feedback and build it into the roadmap and product strategy
- Manage, coach, and inspire a team of product owners
- Utilize your network to help advance business goals
- Constantly drive exceptional value for our users
- Build and lead a culture of experimentation
- Prioritize bringing joy to our audience
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in General Manager leadership roles
- Obsessed with getting the player (aka customer) experience right
- History of building strong teams
- Strong track record of exceeding revenue and profitability targets
- Experience in and a passion for managing and professionally developing product teams
- Data driven with an ability to balance quantitative and qualitative inputs to make decisions
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work with others in pursuit of a common goal
- Solutions oriented leader with a track record of inspiring teams towards success
- Ability to think BIG while getting hands dirty and leading by example
