At the CrowdStar Studio, we believe there is a huge opportunity in interactive entertainment products for women. Our goal is to build products that engage, enrich, and empower women. With our two top grossing titles, Covet Fashion and Design Home, CrowdStar has developed new ways for players to enjoy fashion and interior design. We are changing how women interact with games. As the General Manager, you will be leading Design Home, an innovative home décor game that blurs the line between app and game. This is an exciting opportunity, as you'll have a chance to work with an outstanding team and continue to grow the franchise through new features, systems, and content.
As a General Manager reporting to the VP of Mobile Lifestyle Simulation, you will be responsible for all aspects of the product, leading a talented development team and partnering with key stakeholders to drive growth. Your scope will include communicating the product vision, owning executive discussions, analyzing the business, guiding the team on content, merchandizing and feature strategies. You will also partner with marketing, ads team and performance marketing on go to market strategies.

Responsibilities:
- You will drive the product strategy and vision, ensure that the team is balancing the Design, Engineering and PM perspectives
- Leverage Data Analytics, A/B testing, Push Notifications and other partner tools to empower the team to drive KPIs
- Mentor, develop talent across each of the disciplines of the team: PM, Engineering, Art, Content, Design and Production
- Build an environment that is based on trust and transparency and is a safe and encouraging place for team members at every level to take creative risks. Foster a creative culture where the best ideas win, regardless of where the ideas come from
Required Skills:
- Focus on clear goal setting, employee empowerment, and performance feedback. Has a clear sense of what good looks like by discipline and can accurately assess different levels of talent.
- Passion for games and strong player empathy. Ability to critically evaluate design, art and economy that influence player behavior.
- Strong communication and writing skills, with experience preparing and presenting decks to various stakeholders. Effectively communicate both creative and technical feedback to a diverse group of stakeholders.
- Lead teams through change management cycles tied to product strategy, team processes, org structure and overall roadmap. Acts as the bridge between the needs of the business and strategies/goals of the team.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data driven product design and decision making.
- 10+ years of experience in product management or production with a major gaming company, and/or experience in a top ranked management consulting firm.
- 5+ years of experience in social/casual gaming with a significant live services portion is a preference
