The Games Localisation Team Lead will be responsible for leading a multi-functional team focused on localizing content produced by a world leading MOBA client. The Games Loc Team Lead will lead and develop the team by setting KPIs, coaching, managing team performance, holding 1:1 meetings and help the team develop and deliver optimal quality. The Lead has an important role in project-related communication with the client. They will also be working closely with LQA Lead, Project Managers and Global Programme Manager to ensure the team is synched and delivering according to expectations. - Lead & develop the Localisation team
- Plan team capacity
- Take ownership of project-related communications with client
- Hold team meetings
- Develop team: 1:1’s , mentoring, coaching & recruitment
- Improve processes and continuously evaluate project workflows
- Liaise with other KW sites globally working with client
- Seek & suggest changes to process & technology to optimise ways of working on complex localization projects
- Perform administrative duties, approve team holidays
- Manage Team costs, approve team expenses.
- Monitor profit margin.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in the games localisation industry
- Degree in Business, Translation, Computer Science or Games Development
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in English
- Experience managing localisation teams of onsite and offsite resources
- Knowledge of CAT tools & MT technology and proven experience in implementing workflows
- Passion for the video game industry
- Strong leadership competency
