Games Analyst

Overview

The Games Analyst will leverage their video game and analytical expertise to support the organization focused on aggregating, analyzing, and trending acquisition and sales data for reporting and predictive analytics. The right person for this role will demonstrate a strong aptitude for detailed data compilation, review and analysis and will have the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment. Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, analyze and report acquisitions and sales for new and catalog releases
• Analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques.
• Generate and test hypotheses to identify growth opportunities and improve sales/acquisitions.
• Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the Global video game trends and marketplace.
• Collaborate with and assist departments across the organization to provide timely, accurate and insightful sales/business analyses.
• Assist with ad hoc analysis on various projects as required.

Qualifications

• A passion and strong understanding of video games and the video game industry.
• Experience in data/business analysis and reporting in technology-oriented companies.
• Superior intellectual, quantitative analysis, and communication capabilities.
• Expert working knowledge of advanced Excel features.
• Willingness to take on a hands-on approach to data analysis.
• Ability to work in a time sensitive environment with tight deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Math or a related field.
