Are you looking for a role where you can elaborate within character, camera and controls for an exciting and ambitious new Game IP here in Stockholm Sweden? Then I think we have something for you!

The goal for this role it to focus on the 3C’s: Controls, Character and Camera. Ain't that exciting? You will join our Game Programming Team and work closely with the Lead 3C Programmer and a team of other 3C Programmers and dedicated 3C Designers. You will also collaborate with other departments like special effects, audio, animation and other programmers.

We know you have fantastical powers and for us it is important you get to show your magic. To do this, we are creating strong autonomous teams with independent decision-making, poke holes in things when required and freedom to try out new things and show why it works.

As a Gameplay Programmer – 3C’s, you will have daily interactions with the Design craft to create one-of-a-kind implementations of game mechanics that prioritizes incredible game feel. You will be primarily design, implement and maintain core gameplay mechanics for player centric features like combat, controls, movement and character. How awesome?

You will have the opportunity to create several iterations to ensure the mechanics satisfy the design brief whilst being technically elegant and performant. As we work in cross-functional teams, you will be working closely with people from other disciplines and follow agile methodologies to drive your work forward.
The role includes identifying and defining technical solutions for various gameplay features following design documentation. With this also ensure that newly developed features and systems meet minimum requirements and matches project’s code style. You will also analyze and correct bugs identified by people from other crafts, development testers or you and your peers.
