Gameplay Programmer

Job Description

Ubisoft Barcelona Mobile is currently seeking a Gameplay Programmer to help our team on their next adventure. You’ll join an international and successful game development team and will report to the Lead Game Programmer.

Your daily adventure:

• You will develop mobile free-to-play games from concept to ship to live operations.
• You will develop and fine tune new and existing game features and pipelines.
• You will cooperate and support other programmers and being part of a multidisciplinary team.
• You will assess features feasibility respecting time and cost.
• You will write robust, optimized and maintainable code.
• You will write technical design documents, for milestones and internal use.

• You have at least 2 or more years of demonstrable experience as a game developer.
• You have strong skills and experience in software development in Unity3D and C# or C++.
• You have a solid foundation in computer science and software engineering, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, 3D mathematics and software design.
• You have knowledge of server-client architectures.
• You are a team player: we use agile development methods, where the team members are in permanent contact. Open mind and good communication skills are a must.
• Attention to detail, meticulous and organized working habits. Ability to multi-task and to adapt easily to change.
• You have passion for games and some knowledge of the games industry.
• You have a good command of English.
• You have a work permit for Spain obtained prior to applying for the position is a must.
