Gunzilla’s Chief Technology Officer Timur Davidenko led the development of CryEngine as Technical Director, and worked on Far Cry, Warface and Crysis. Art Director Jussi Keteli was involved in the iconic Gears of War series, Star Citizen and Hunt: Showdown.

ABOUT THE JOB
Gunzilla Games are looking for Junior Gameplay programmer who will help develop and support various gameplay features (movement, shooting, etc.), gameplay entities (kill zones, rockets, bombs, etc.), and AI-related features (AI-specific weapons, behaviors, etc.). They will also collaborate with the game designers to create and implement game features from idea to delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- As a Gameplay Programmer, you will:
- Design and develop the core gameplay features and systems
- Work closely with the artists and designers to iterate on the gameplay mechanics
- Contribute ideas and feedback to all aspects of the game
- Maintain and optimize the existing game systems
- Develop gameplay entities (kill zones, rockets, bombs, etc.)
- Work on AI behaviors and AI-related features development
- Create and extend documentation on gameplay features and systems
- Self-manage programming tasks and coordinate with the Production team
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent C++ knowledge (2+ years professional experience required)
- Strong 3D math knowledge (vectors, matrices, transformations)
- Familiarity with Design patterns, Data-Oriented design, and SOLID principles
Good understanding of:
- Network programming
- Multithreading and parallel programming
- OS internals (process/thread/memory management)
- How CPUs/GPUs work
- Self-motivated, strong work ethic, and able to work independently
