The Mission

We are looking for a Gameplay Programmer – Character, Camera & Controls for an ambitious unannounced game here in Stockholm Sweden.

As a Gameplay Programmer you will focus on the 3C’s: Controls, Character and Camera. You will join our Game Programming Team and work closely with the Lead 3C Programmer and a team of other 3C Programmers and dedicated 3C Designers You will also collaborate with other departments like special effects, audio, animation and other programmers.

Our Plan

As a Gameplay Programmer – 3C’s, you will have daily interactions with the Design craft to create one-of-a-kind implementations of game mechanics that prioritizes incredible game feel. You will be working primarily with player centric features like combat, controls, movement and character. You will have the opportunity to create several iterations to ensure the mechanics satisfy the design brief whilst being technically elegant and performant. As we work in cross-functional teams, you will be working closely with people from other disciplines and follow agile methodologies to drive your work forward.

In this role, you’ll be joining the Core Gameplay programming team and report to our Lead Core Gameplay programmer. You will work closely with your lead and other programmers, as well as with the design craft and others to fully enhance the features and prototypes that goes into our project.
