In the role of a Gameplay Engineer, you will assume the pivotal responsibility of sculpting and programming the player's journey, collaborating closely with our team to breathe life into our project.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the game design team to understand their vision and implement engaging gameplay mechanics, systems, and features.
- Design and develop gameplay systems using Unreal Engine and C++, including character movement, combat mechanics, AI behavior, game physics, and player interactions.
- Implement and iterate on game controls, ensuring responsive and intuitive player input across various platforms.
- Create and maintain gameplay tools, editors, and pipelines to streamline the development process and empower designers and artists.
- Optimize gameplay systems and code to meet performance and memory constraints, ensuring smooth and fluid gameplay experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate gameplay elements seamlessly into the game world.
- Conduct playtesting and gather feedback to identify and address gameplay-related issues, balancing gameplay difficulty and pacing.
Requirements:
Obligatory:
- Self starter.
- Advanced knowledge of Unreal Engine and proficiency in C++ programming.
- Strong understanding of game design principles and gameplay mechanics.
- Experience developing and implementing gameplay systems.
- Participated in at least one successful, shipped project.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an international, multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for video games and a keen eye for detail.
Pluses:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Understanding of game analytics and player metrics to drive gameplay improvements.
- Strong mathematical and physics background.
