Gameloft Internship Competition

Job Description

Gameloft Brisbane will open a Graduate Game Jam Competition for our intern intake program in 2022. So if you are ready for the next challenge and seeking an opportunity to enter the exciting world of Game Dev, look no further - we have the road map for you!

Gameloft Brisbane is offering Internships across 3D Art, Technical Art, and Programming disciplines . Competition winners will receive a full-time 3-month contract with the possibility of extension to a full-time permanent position.

The theme of the Game Jam will be announced on Friday 4th February 2022, and applicant teams will have a week to produce their project. Please see the criteria below:

• enter as an individual or with a maximum of two people in a team;
• an individual or team must use Unreal Engine with Blueprints, C++, or a combination of both;
• the game must run on a PC and preferably on a mobile device;
• an online game will gain bonus points;
• art and code will be evaluated separately.

This unique competition will enable participants to include a completed project as part of their portfolio! Not only that – but in addition, each entry has as the option to receive project feedback from the Gameloft Brisbane team.

Qualifications

To qualify for entry into the competition, you must satisfy the below criteria:

• graduated in the last 12 months or, will graduate by January 2022;
• full rights to work within Australia;
• the ability to work in Gameloft Brisbane Studio.

Ø Registrations for the Competition will close on Tuesday 1st February 2022, and successful entrants will be contacted and notified of the competition theme on the 4th of February.

Ø The competition will run from Friday 4th February - Friday 11th February 2022.

This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills and talents in a fun and creative environment.

Gameloft will not have any IP rights on the submitted projects, and you will own all your content developed in the competition.

Please note: Successful applicants must reside and have full working rights in Australia to satisfy the criteria to enter the Competition.
