Klang is looking for a Game Tools Engineer (f/m/d) who enjoys a collaborative and creative work environment to join us in one of the most exciting cities on the planet!
Requirements
What you will do:
- Increase developer productivity and quality of life through technological solutions (eg.: testing frameworks, authoring tools, asset delivery, version control, CI)
- Create technological tools, especially in Unity, to enable faster and better game content delivery
- Be part of an Agile software development team, working with partners in Engineering, Production, Design and Quality Assurance
- Provide input on the technical direction for an ambitious MMO project
Who we think will be a great fit:
- You have 4+ years of experience working with the C# as a Software Engineer, or demonstrate the ability to learn it quickly based on previous engineering experience
- You have multiple years of experience working with the Unity ecosystem as Software Engineer
- You are able to work with and on software systems across multiple platforms - Windows, Linux, macOS, mobile platforms
- You are able to proactively communicate and collaborate with other teams and to identify inefficiencies
- You are motivated by enabling others in a large team to contribute efficiently
- You can communicate fluently in English inside and outside of your own domain
Bonus:
- You can demonstrate the ability to understand the complexity of a large and technologically advanced software project
- You worked on multiplayer networked games, ideally persistent ones
- You are a fan of large scale MMOs
