Job Description
As a Game Systems Designer you will be tasked with designing feature concepts and game mechanics for our growing portfolio of Mobile Games! Reporting to the Lead Game Designer, you will be at the forefront of our production system, liaising across different production teams! Leave your mark on our upcoming Idle Mobile Games!
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Design and Production teams on both games and feature creation;
- Participate in the design of game UX and UI;
- Formalize and clarify concepts/features into clear documentation to be used throughout the production team!
- Make strategic data-based decisions as required;
- Effectively communicate your vision between different teams.
- Benchmark and research other mobile games to identify new trends, mechanics, features.
- Deconstruct and analyze mobile game mechanics.
- Create game-design documents for prototypes!
Qualifications
- A track-record of being hyper passionate and motivated about mobile games!
- An excellent knowledge of Mobile Free-to-Play (F2P) market insights.
- A minimum of two (2) years experience as a Game Designer working on mobile titles!
- A demonstrated ability of excellent writing and oral communication skills!

Studio Description
Our studio is located in the heart of the city (Halifax) within the historic and iconic Keith's Brewery Market. The Halifax Harbour is in view from our windows and lunch breaks can be spent on the boardwalk or at one of the many restaurants and cafes that populate the downtown core.
