Game Producer

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Game Producer to work with the multi award-winning Total War Production team at our studio based in Horsham, based in the heart of Sussex, England.
In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day process of coordinating a cross-discipline pipeline and the daily needs of the technical teams. You will pro-actively identify breakpoints or shortcomings, and in collaboration with the Project Dev Director, define and deploy strategies to address them. This is an ideal role for an experienced Game Producer looking to grow their skills and head towards a Senior position within the company.
Key Responsibilities
As a Game Producer on the project, you will work with project leads to focus them on the key priorities while tracking their progress toward our goals and actively participate in managing the development team schedule and meeting milestones.
On a day to day basis you will:
- Assist with the planning and estimation process across the project to help produce fully scoped plans for upcoming projects.
- Help manage the development team schedule, ensuring that milestones are adhered to and tech and decision pipelines remain unblocked.
- Take responsibility for communicating changes within the project to all relevant parties and ensure the schedule is adapted accordingly.
- Communicate progress on current and upcoming milestones and will provide clear, detailed analysis on team performance, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Liaise with the Live Ops manager to ensure that work is being carefully managed between the two teams.
Knowledge, Skill and Experience
Essential
- Relevant experience in project management with a good understanding of planning scheduling, process, tracking and resource allocation
- Experience with Agile and other methodologies
- Relevant experience working with multi-disciplinary teams
- Excellent, pragmatic problem-solving and risk assessing skills
- A team thinker - able to support and work within a team and enable the team to perform in a united way
- Excellent organisational skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent knowledge and experience using MS Office applications, especially Excel
- Enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for games
Desirable
- Experience and/or knowledge of running a Live game
- Knowledge of the Total War Franchise
- Good presentation skills
- Experience successfully managing teams working across different geographic locations
- Previous experience working with one or more of:
- QA
- Localisation
- Web sites
- External partners
- Perforce
- JIRA
