Game Producer - League of Legends, Game Analysis

As a Producer on the Game Analysis Team , you will report into and work with the Gameplay Initiative Delivery Lead to manage the team’s work system. You will ensure they are appropriately staffed and configured to analyze Gameplay and Wild Rift projects ranging from minor balance changes to massive overhauls (e.g. Preseason). You will be accountable for the delivery of useful analysis to game teams, for ensuring playtest slots are scheduled appropriately, and for managing a healthy relationship with customer teams. You will also ensure the team works at a sustainable pace and continuously improves.

Responsibilities:

• Co-lead a team of game analysts to provide design feedback, support, and analysis for gameplay teams on LoL PC and WR.
• Define and own the strategy for what the team should be prioritizing and how it can scale in the future.
• Own and improve work systems, team performance metrics, and goals setting.
• Provide visibility and predictability to the team and stakeholders.
• Identify misalignment around project goals and timeline. Create risk mitigation plans for both.
• Assess the team’s maturity, health, and composition. Identify staffing gaps, work with discipline leads across the organization to fill them, and help with onboarding and integration of new team members.
• Build strong relationships with partner teams and craft working agreements to manage joint projects.
• Create and contribute ideas to areas beyond your immediate ownership across different teams and disciplines.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience in a software production role (i.e. - experience as a producer, product manager, project manager, or similar).
• Experience applying Agile and/or Lean development process and practices.
• Experience setting up work systems and improving team effectiveness and health.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working in game development in any capacity (QA, engineering, etc.).
• Experience reaching a high level of play in one or more competitive video games.
• Familiarity with either League of Legends or League of Legends: Wild Rift.
• Experience running a service team with established work intake processes and customer evaluation processes.
