Game Producer - Console

Amazon Games Orange County is looking for a talented and driven Game Producer that will oversee development of a console game port at an external developer. You will work closely with our team's creative and technical leads in addition to the external developer's leads to create a high quality console game true to the original. You will own multi-month schedules and initiatives and be looking for opportunities for process and organizational improvements that increase efficiency and raise quality. You will utilize their communication skills to effectively collaborate and influence their peers and executives resulting in the delight of the customers.

Responsibilities:
· Manage an external development team to create a current generation console game based on an existing PC game.
- Ensure console standards are met or exceeded in terms of user experience and console manufacturer requirements.
- Collaborate with internal technology leads on porting the PC game technology to console.
· Partner with QA experts to ensure all issues are known and quickly resolved.
· Fulfill the role of project manager for the console project using task management software and scheduling techniques that are a blend of agile development methods and longer term prediction tactics.
· Generate detailed workflow documentation that articulate how to develop on console for engineers, designers, artists and quality assurance.
· Work with legal and finance partners as needed to to negotiate contracts, set up work orders and submit invoices.

Basic Qualifications

· 3+ years experience in game production preferably on console games.
· 3+ years experience in game development with knowledge of both art asset creation and new code development.
· 3+ years experience with modern game engines and asset integration pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience working with a cross discipline team of artists, designers, animators and engineers.
· Experience working with console manufacturers and knowledgeable of their requirements and processes.
· Experience in project management and associated tools for managing development.
· Knowledgeable of game industry trends and enjoys playing games.
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role.
