Game Product Manager: Central Product Management
EA is looking for a Product Manager to join our Redwood Shores, CA office. As a member of the Central Product Management team, the PM will partner across game teams to improve product capabilities, focusing mostly within the mobile gaming organization.
We work with production and design teams to guide product vision, strategy and feature requirements and also produce product insights that inform game teams and senior executives, and which will shape product road maps across game teams. You will report to the Senior Game Product Manager on our Central Product Management team.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with game teams to help establish product vision, strategy and business model based on understanding of freemium game design and engagement/monetization mechanic
- Partner closely with production and design teams to conceptualize, spec and implement engaging features, mechanics, systems and modalities of play
- Tear down new product features across competitor titles to inform game teams and senior executive of current product trends; be the product ‘eyes and ears’ of the organization
- Lead central product plans that influence product design across game teams; lead product plans through rigorous analysis,, and influence
- Produce and analyze game metrics (acquisition, retention, engagement, monetization, virality) and proactively identify and implement optimizations to player experience and core financial performance
- Collaborate with feature planning and optimization: define testing protocol, set up and perform multivariate tests, establish benchmarks, measure performance and provide relevant recommendations to publishing, design and production teams
- Partner across marketing, strategy, demand planning, and other essential functions to promote value for game teams and senior executives.
Required experience:
- Passion for video games; passion in mobile gaming a plus
- Experience collaborating across diverse disciplines and influence effectively
- 2+ years of experience in mobile gaming, top-tier consulting, tech product management, or similar functions
- Experience in quantitative analysis, including the ability to model game parameters in Excel
- Excellent data analysis skills required, experience with A/B and multivariate testing
- Experience presenting qualitative data analysis
- Performance-driven and team player
- S. or M.S. in Computer Science or Engineering or MBA from top B-school preferred
