Game Monetization Manager

The Game Monetization Manager will own the tactics and strategies that drive monetization for our games. They will analyze and define strategies to increase player conversion, in-game spending, retention and average revenue per user. He/she will define and analyze business targets and requirements with the Live Producer and Creative Director. In order to achieve those, the incumbent will use different opportunities offered in the context of an online game (in-game shop, promotional tools, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development team, ideate and manage strategies that drive monetization in online games;
- Work with different teams to drive monetization strategies, increase efficiency and revenue, develop promotional strategies, identify opportunities and provide monetization reporting;
- Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to the monetization of players;
- Provide reports that track KPIs to the Producer in order to identify and predict trends;
- Monitor trends and benchmarks in order to set monetization best practices;
- Own and drive internal performance reporting to support business process improvement initiatives;
Competencies, Skills and Knowledge
- Deep knowledge of Games as a Services (GAAS) within the console space;
- Strong analytical skills ;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Project and Program Management skills
- Capacity to maintain efficiency under pressure;
- Result-oriented.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Monetization for AAA PC/Console games.
- Experience creating, managing, and executing profitable monetization strategies and programs.
- Experience with online multiplayer console games.
- Experience working within a game development studio as an on-site resource for monetization strategies.
