About the role:

This is a rare opportunity to own and drive forward the product vision of a high quality game with an engaged player base and catapult it to new heights as the Game Lead.

The ideal candidate will be a strong product leader, great communicator and the creative glue between the team members. Highly analytical, driven and capable of setting a clear and effective product strategy all while maintaining a sensitivity to the holistic player experience.

This role requires an enthusiastic and driven individual who understands what makes F2P games tick, has a long-term growth mindset and is willing to roll up their sleeves to ensure the vision is delivered.

Responsibilities:

• Be an exceptionally strong strategic thinker and set a clear, concise vision for the Love & Pies team
• Own the product roadmap and prioritise development areas which drive forward key initiatives to support the long term success of Love & Pies
• Take full ownership of all game metrics and the player experience. Stay informed on all aspects of the game's performance and develop improvement strategies
• Work with data to understand our players and optimise the game through a hypothesis and testing based analytical approach
• Ensure that designs meet the players’ needs at different stages of their lifecycle as well as business objectives
• Direct and support the work priorities of a team of game designers and product managers and give regular, timely feedback to ensure work is serving the strategy
• Work closely with the Executive Producer and other leads to foster a culture of high care and high performance within the Love & Pies team, reflecting the overall Trailmix values
• Collaborate effectively across different functions such as marketing, data and finance
• Keep stakeholders regularly updated with game status and performance
• Keep a keen eye on what’s happening in the market and bring interesting trends to the team

Requirements:

• Proven track record of growing a F2P game business. Bonus points for casual games experience
• Experience leading a live game team and dealing with a community of players
• Background of either Game Design or Product Management - or ideally both
• Superb communication, people and leadership skills
• Understands game design principles well enough to work closely with game designers
• Willing to roll up your sleeves and work directly on the product where necessary
• Driven yet humble attitude. Entrepreneurial mindset
• Previous experience working closely with game developers, ideally from inside a team
• Expert understanding of the F2P market

Location:

Trailmix is operating under a hybrid work model - we have 3 days a week (Monday, Thursday & Friday) in person at our brand new studio in Kings X with the remaining 2 days available to work from home.
