Game Developer
Role
We are looking for an experienced Unity game developer, able to lead the development of a turn-based strategy game in a fast-paced, iterative environment. You will work closely with our team to develop and iterate engaging, high-quality games.
Responsibilities
- Refactoring the code of the prototype/test build mobile, 1v1, turn based strategy board/dice game,
- Developing gameplay features, enemy AI, UI functionality, data logging and analytics system, in app purchases, multiplayer, etc.
- Engaging closely with the team by sharing your progress and attending meetings to ensure effective and fast-paced prototyping and iteration,
- Contributing to new game/feature ideas,
- Profiling performance, optimising, debugging etc.
Requirements
- Fluent or intermediate English
- Excellent proficiency with Unity Game Engine and C#
- Creative problem solving skills and love for mathematics
- Fast prototyping and a great sense of architecture, writing clean code
- Passion for finding trends and optimising gameplay and game mechanics
- Taking accountability, ownership, and pride in your work
- Excellent communication skills and a positive collaboration mindset (fostering a strong team culture and collaborative environment are key to our studio)
