The $100 billion gaming industry is on the verge of revolution. For decades, gamers have suffered under the pretense of ownership: purchasing digital assets to which they hold but negligible rights. Now, with the advent of blockchain technology, comes the opportunity to empower gamers with true ownership. At Fuel, our mission is to lead this revolution and transform the space as social and mobile platforms did years ago.
With a small but exceptional team of artists, designers and engineers we are building Gods Unchained: a AAA trading card game where players have complete control over their assets. As we approach launch, we need the help of other talented professionals to help bring our game to the world.

Job description
This role is for a talented and ambitious junior developer who has shipped at least one game in Unity.
Help us create a player-first future
With Gods Unchained we want to show the Blizzard and Epics of the world that players should own the items they buy (including being free to sell or trade them to others). You will be contributing directly to this mission by dramatically increasing the reach of Gods Unchained via a mobile app.
Collaborate and grow with a talented team
You will join join our engineering department within the game team - the brilliant individuals behind Gods Unchained. We are a small team so there will be plenty of opportunities to contribute in different areas and expand your capabilities.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Work with senior engineers to accept work from a prioritized backlog.
- Merge game features and bug fixes to appropriate Git branches.
- Ensure stability of changes pushed to the build pipeline.
- Work with other engineers, designers and artists to verify their intentions and requirements.
- Participate in fortnightly sprint planning and daily standups.
Desired Experience
- Unity game engine (1+ years)
- C# programming (1+ years)
- Shipped at least 1 game
- Version Control (e.g. SVN, Git, Perforce)
- Great communication skills
- Optional - Netcode (e.g. uNet, Photon, Master Server Kit, Raknet)
No remote working: Whilst we want to support remote working in the medium-term, we are only hiring for onsite roles to promote collaboration and grow our culture.
