We are looking for an experienced Game Designer to participate in one of our projects (Play-To-Earn, MMORPG, Metaverse) with relocation to Kuala Lumpur.
Xsolla Labs is a laboratory for the generation and development of innovative ideas in the field of blockchain technology, Web3, and game development. Our goal is to create new products that help game developers distribute and improve their projects, make them more successful. We appreciate teamwork, open feedback, exchange experiences and support the launch of new initiatives, projects and ideas of each other.
Tasks:
Define and document our ecosystem rules and systems, in accordance with our specific constraints and our values (Blockchain, UGC, Play to Earn/ Metaverse/ MMORPG)
Design and specify our clients feature set (Game Client, Dashboard)
Design and specify our tools feature sets (Game Maker, VoxEdit)
Create and maintain documentation based on our framework
Organize and share produced documentation through a clear index based on our Roadmap
Requirements:
At least 1.5+ years experience in a Game Design position
At least 2 shipped titles
Ability to convey a concept from design to implementation
Ability to produce mockups, flows, illustrations to support concepts
Deep understanding of complex ecosystems involving multiple products
Deep understanding of MMO economic design
Deep understanding of UGC constraints
Knowledge of blockchain specificities for Play-to-Earn project
Outstanding communication skills
Leadership and ability to pitch concepts to other team members
NICE TO HAVE FOR Play-To-Earn project:
Knowledge of the Blockchain gaming industry
Knowledge of the Cryptocurrency ecosystem
Fluent English communication
