Role Overview
We’re seeking a highly creative, out-of-the box thinker to design hypercasual games for the Crowdstar studio. This individual will be ideating fun new mechanics, prototyping, and validating their designs through testing.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Pioneer new game mechanics
- Ideate, design, and prototype multiple new games in parallel
- Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to validate your designs and ideas
- Collaborate closely with product managers, artists, and engineers
- Write detailed specs in a fast-paced environment
- Have your finger on the pulse of the hypercasual market
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience designing games (hypercasual experience, in particular, is a bonus)
- Ability to autonomously create prototypes (paper and/or Unity)
- Fantastic UX understanding and intuition
- A clear vision and ability to concisely articulate your vision to others
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A data-driven mindset and ability to analyze performance of new games and features (Excel proficiency expected)
- Strong understanding of the female mobile audience
- Robust organizational and decision-making skills
- Self-motivation and a team-player mentality
