Game Designer (World of Warships Franchise)

Job Overview

Here at Wargaming Belgrade we are looking for Game Designer to strengthen the World of Warships High-End Meta team. As a member of the World of Warships team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a talented and passionate group of professionals and make a meaningful impact on the direction and success of the game

What will you do?

• Generate vision and ideas for the development of the World of Warships project
• Create and maintain design documentation for new and existing features
• Organize the production processes of individual features from idea to release – write technical specifications, set tasks and monitor their execution
• Organize and moderate meetings and brainstorms
• Conduct analytics of released features, process data, build hypotheses and propose solutions to problems
• Participate in process optimization and improvement

What are we looking for?

• 3+ years of experience as a Game Designer
• Good understanding of the modern f2p game design from sides of both core and meta gameplay
• Deep shooter experience: as a player or as a game designer
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong sense of responsibility
• Ability to work within restrictions to solve problems as they occur
• Active contribution to the growth of the studio. Lead by example, including demonstrating a willingness to give and receive feedback, collaborate with others to share techniques, and ideas, and contribute to a positive working environment
• A willingness to take initiative and responsibility to increase the game's quality and the team's health
• Deep understanding of the needs of game users, and familiarity with the various processes of game production and operation.

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Working experience in the role of a game designer in shooter, RPG, or strategy games
• Good Level of Russian language
• Experience in prototyping or rapid iteration-based feature development.
