Game Designer (Live Events)

CCP is looking for an experienced, self-motivated Game Designer to work on our limited time content, live events, and seasons team who has deep passion for games and virtual worlds, capable of working on both conceptual level as well as on implementation level.

You will be working in our Reykjavík studio, bringing live event experience and expertise in Game Design to work on our multiple award-winning title: EVE Online.

Your tasks:

• Working as part of the Design Group, and taking responsibility for large features, systems, and content
• Delivering engaging live events and systems for multiple player segments feeding into a cohesive season
• Collaborating with your team as well as other team leads and team members, ensuring positive communication and problem solving between disciplines
• Working with production to assist, and provide feedback on, high-level plans and schedules
• Meeting ambitious seasonal deadlines with to deliver limited time and time sensitive content and experiences to players

Your profile:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in game design
• Experience working in a live event or seasons model for an established live product
• Experience working on MMORPGs
• Experience designing quests
• Experience designing single-player encounters
• Experience designing multi-player encounters
• Content and systems design experience
• Ability to work creatively in a team environment
• Absolute passion for playing and making computer games
