Game Designer - Internship - Fall 2020 - Dead by Daylight

Unique opportunity to join an industry-recognized successful game studio with big ambitions, working on some of the most exciting intellectual properties in entertainment. Behaviour Interactive is seeking a highly motivated game designer to work on Dead by Daylight.
As a game designer, you will work with a diverse team including a creative director, programmers, game economy/level designers, artists, animators, technical specialists, product managers, producers and brand manager to build and run a game. You will work with the development team to create a profitable game that will entertain players for years to come.
What you’ll do:
- Design & optimize game features
- Nurture player progression systems based on feedback, metrics and business goals;
- Identify and exploit ways to leverage brand strengths in your designs;
- Review game builds and identify actionable items and areas of improvements;
- Work closely with programmers, artists, animators and economic/level designers to implement your designs;
- Work with Product Managers & Data Analysts to understand the game’s KPI’s / Health Metrics as well as user feedback to be able to formulate and inform design decisions.
Qualifications
What we seek:
- Experience in GaaS Premium games;
- Good knowledge of games design for mainstream platforms and balancing for mid-core genres;
- Demonstrated experience in data-driven design;
- Keen ability for handling and streamlining complex systems into efficiently simple and approachable designs;
- Bachelor’s degree (finished or in progress) or equivalent professional experience.
