Game Designer F2P

The Game Designer is responsible for creating high quality content and mechanics for Free2Play games. They make sure that game functionalities and user experiences align with the vision for the project, that the game is easy to use, and most of all that the game is an awesome experience for the player.
OUTCOMES

- Design features and experiences custom-tailored to the desired audience.
- Concise and clear documentation that communicates a complete game vision.
- Balanced game systems that feel fair and rewarding.
- Data-driven design mechanics that are aligned with the vision of the game
- Contribute feedback and other improvements.
ROLE-BASED COMPETENCIES
- Solid knowledge of Casual Game design mechanics and how to apply them.
- Expert in free-to-play monetization and retention techniques.
- Understands casual game audience & their motivations.
- Designs features that can target and increase specific KPIs during live ops.
- Creativity and imagination to shape the core vision and flow of a game.
- Uses analytics to verify assumptions and improve certain aspects of the game.
- Delivers high quality work within tight deadlines.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A strong passion for making and playing games.
- 3+ years experience with game design; experience in mobile game development is a plus.
- Experience on shipped F2P products and live services.
- Excellent verbal and writing skills.
- Hands on experience with Unity is a plus.
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
- Read, write and speak excellent English.
- Able to work at our office in The Hague
- Able to work 40 hours per week
- Understanding of Dutch is a plus
