Game Designer (Experienced - Senior)
HARDlight are looking for a talented hands-on Designer to help craft the future of our live mobile Sonic titles.
You will be working with a team that is highly skilled, autonomous, fast paced and agile, they collaborate well and respect each other. To work well with the team, a Designer must be an active collaborator willing to work closely with a diverse, cross discipline group to develop and iterate ideas for features and improvements.
For a Designer to excel in the role, they must be excited and committed to the continual improvement of an existing product that resonates with 100’s of millions of players.
Essential Skills & Experience
- You’ve designed and overseen the development of successful features in one or more live F2P titles
- You deliver designs that appeal to the audience, meet the needs of the business and are achievable within agreed development timeframes
- You have good presentation skills and can clearly and confidently communicate your designs
- You write clearly and your documentation is concise, detailed, and well-organized with easy-to-understand examples, diagrams and mock-ups
You can take responsibility for entire features and operate without the need for regular supervision - You can identify and react to problems and advise others on how to deal with unexpected issues or changes
- You regularly play mobile games, and stay up to date with mobile design trends
