What’s our story?
Based in Berlin, Europe's creative tech capital, our employees from over 40 different nations work together to create high-quality casual games driven by engaging stories at the core of the experience.
At Wooga, we believe that to make outstanding games you must not only love what you do, you must be part of a team with other experts who share your passion for excellence. We are very proud of the professional and creative environment we have established here, and we are confident it will inspire you to do amazing things!
Who are we trying to find?
We are looking for an intermediate F2P game designer who is well-organized, has a strong attention to detail, and who knows how to work with a live ops content pipeline. Our ideal candidate would have at least some experience with Hidden Object -- or decoration-style -- games, but this isn’t a requirement.
What will you do?
- Integrate narrative chapter content
- Balance complex HO scenes
- Prototype and design adventure puzzles
- Coordinate seasonal decoration content and balancing
- Collaborate closely with various disciplines to create and integrate content
- Work with a writing team and others to create, configure, and rollout game narrative
- Remain current on the mobile game market and especially competitive titles
Who are you?
- Ideally, you have 2+ years of relevant mobile game and live-ops experience, and you understand what it takes to deliver regular content
- You understand that player experiences are shaped by gameplay content
- You are able to work on concurrent tasks that span months
- You have experience working with content pipelines
- You are an excellent written and verbal communicator (in English), who can coordinate efforts across a multidisciplinary team
- A knowledge of Photoshop, and basic composition and perspective, would be useful
- You can work without being micromanaged, and efficiently manage your own time
- You learn from your mistakes, are constantly trying to improve your skills, and are willing to accept and provide constructive criticism
- You are an excellent team player who will fit into our multinational and über-friendly company of highly motivated professionals
Why will you love working at Wooga?
- We will give you the creative freedom to create a fantastic gameplay experience for literally millions of players
- We provide extensive relocation and visa support for you and your loved ones. We want to make your move to Berlin as smooth as possible
- All employees receive a significant education budget and extra days off for self-development. We have regular meetups, workshops, brown bag lunches with industry experts, cross-discipline training sessions, and more!
- We offer a unique office space, with sleeping pods and lounges, console games, and a full kitchen with as much coffee, free drinks, fruit, and snacks as you can handle
- Did you know that German is the third most commonly taught language worldwide? Learn it too! We offer German language classes for you and your significant other!
At Wooga we are committed to providing a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for everyone who works here or with us, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, religion (or lack thereof) and game preferences.
