Game Design Intern - Marvel Puzzle Quest

Demiurge Studios is seeking candidates for a 6-month paid game design internship.

As a Game Design Intern you’ll create live event content and tune gameplay systems for one of our live titles on iOS, Android & PC. With the support of our senior game design staff, you will have a direct impact on the success of a major title.

Responsibilities:

• Implement live events using Excel and other internal tools
• Work with senior development staff to create, tune, and maintain complex game systems
• Assist in design and implementation of characters and playable content
• Author and refine game design documentation
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in an iterative, agile framework
• Analyze, interpret, then react to key performance indicators

Qualifications:

• A deep understanding of basic game design principles, demonstrated through completed game projects
• Ability to learn new tools and workflows with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Proficient with Excel
• Local to eastern Massachusetts
• Available full time for six months
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
