This position is Tel-Aviv-based or fully remote within European Time Zone +/-2h.
Team
Our Gaming team is made up of hybrid-casual, casual, and mid-core experts. Our 'Core' games team supports internal and external studios worldwide in creating, developing, and launching new hit games, whilst our 'Live' games team focuses on delivering higher engagement on our existing and successful games.
Joining our Live games team means collaborating with gaming industry experts on globally renowned, enduring games while embracing exciting new entrepreneurial ventures. With over seven billion downloads worldwide and a portfolio of more than 10 resilient hybrid games generating more than $20m per year, we are the world's largest and most successful hybrid publisher.
Voodoo is creating a small experimentation team with a big mission: find the next best way to entertain the world by taking our best hits to a new level. You will be one of the first members of a team of six and you will participate in every aspect of development, from ideation to testing the casual games in the market.

Role
We are looking for a passionate Game Artist to join our top-notch art team. Using your creative skills, you'll be responsible for ensuring our visuals are both stunning and optimized for smooth gameplay. You will:
- Design and develop game assets, including characters, environments, and UI elements, with a focus on 3D art. Utilise your skills in concept art, and animation to create visually appealing and user-friendly game interfaces.
- Provide and analyse art references for games and features. Create mock-ups that effectively communicate your artistic vision to the team.
- Enhance gameplay experiences through impactful animations, utilizing tools like Spine to create fluid and engaging character movements.
- Work directly within Unity to integrate your art into the game, ensuring seamless interaction between visual elements and gameplay mechanics. Collaborate with developers to overcome any technical challenges.
- Actively participate in team discussions, offering feedback and ideas to help shape the direction of the game. Work closely with team members across disciplines to achieve a cohesive and polished final product.
Profile
- At least 4+ years of experience as a Game Artist, with 2-3 years specifically in a LiveOps environment for mobile games
- A portfolio showcasing a strong foundation in 3D art and a solid understanding of 2D art & animation.
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Unity, Figma, Photoshop, and Spine; experience with 3D modeling.
- A versatile skill set as a game art generalist, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to adapt styles to fit different games
- Understanding of user-friendly interface design that enhances gameplay
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset, with a willingness to experiment and iterate to find the best solutions
- Excellent communication skills, with openness to asking for help or clarification when needed
- A strong belief in teamwork and collaboration, understanding that the best results come from collective effort
