Funhaus Assistant Editor - (Temporary)

Funhaus is looking for a Temporary Assistant Video Editor to help create funny video content. Most of Funhaus’ content has a comedic presentation and is heavily improved using visuals that rely on Adobe Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere. A strong candidate will have examples of past work, ability to work across the entire Adobe Creative Suite, work under tight deadlines, be creative without the need to be micromanaged, be easy going and work well with others.

Responsibilities:

• Complete assignments in a timely manner and prepare content for use by the Funhaus Post Staff
• Manage organization of projects, media and assets throughout the editorial process
• Execute changes to your work based off notes from editors, producers, clients and/or management
• Work between multiple projects on a given day while maintaining the highest form of quality
• Be current on industry trends and technologies to provide insight into current workflows
• Work closely with producers and editors in the production pipeline to ensure a collaborative, efficient logistical approach to creating content

Qualifications:

• 2+ years demonstrated experience editing video
• Strong sense of storytelling and comedic timing
• Highly proficient in Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe After Effects
• Knowledge of hardware and software required for video and audio format conversion and compression
• Experience with multi-cam editing and workflow
• Fantastic interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with multidisciplinary teams
• Must have an understanding of video file formats, video analysis and metadata
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment & accept feedback/notes on work
• Desire to further improve skills and techniques
• Strong will and self-motivation to take on projects and complete tasks on timeUnderstanding of YouTube and internet content needed
