Fullstack Software Developer

As a full stack developer on our team, you’ll write and maintain an internal community site used by designers, producers, QA, and customer support. You’ll develop features that allow developers to interact with hosted content, profiles, and tweakable systems. You’ll assist in introducing methods that allow designers to schedule live events, target user segments, and deliver live content changes to the community at large. You’ll support QA to identify and track user behavior and resolve issues by developing easy to use site features.
Responsibilities
- Design, author, maintain and refactor internal sites that meet all design, technical and schedule requirements
- Work closely with QA and your technical leadership to ensure the stability and accuracy of our online tools by identifying, communicating and resolving defects
- Author, review and provide feedback on technical and end-user documentation of online tools
- Collaborate with technical leadership and other engineers to help establish overall technical design and architecture
- Collaborate with designers and content creators to brainstorm solutions that satisfy design and content requirements
- Work closely with the production staff in building and maintaining realistic schedules and identifying dependencies
- Coordinate with QA and leads to ensure successful roll out of new features to the team and establish testing and maintenance of online systems
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional web development experience
- Experience developing web user interfaces
- Experience integrating with backend API
Pluses:- Thorough knowledge and comfort with object-oriented programming concepts
- Experience working with jQuery and Bootstrap
- Experience with Python, Django
- Experience with online services, A/B testing and content delivery
- Familiarity with post launch live operations and support
- Experience with AWS
- Ability to easily communicate technical topics with both engineers and non-technical people
