Fullstack Engineer

Overview

Splitgate is a “Halo meets Portal" viral video game in Beta that officially released in August by 1047 Games. We quickly became the #1 trending game on PlayStation, XBOX, and Steam before we had to limit how many users could play. In our first 6 days, we passed 1M downloads, and hit 2M within the first two weeks. We’re now at 14M+ downloads and growing. We currently have been able to support ~175K concurrent users, our goal is to scale to great heights beyond that.

We’re looking for passionate Fullstack Engineers to join our founding team who are excited to build from the ground up. You will be working on various projects that are both internal facing and end-user facing. Examples would be an Internal Dashboard/Admin Portal to visualize the state of the game and view/modify user data, and an account website that allows users to link their platforms together for cross-progression.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of software development experience
• Proficiency in React.js or similar frontend framework
• Familiarity with Node.js

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with AWS and other cloud platform providers
• Experience with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases
• Experience with MySQL or similar SQL databases
