The Platform team is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to contribute to building our SaaS platform supporting a new mixed reality focused engine. This role will be an important part of bringing AR experiences to millions. This person will be responsible for creating dashboards and interfaces that ease user integration and experience. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with fellow engineers on an agile development team to design, develop, test, implement, deploy, and support technical solutions in responsive single page web applications using JavaScript, Typescript, React, HTML & CSS that adhere to industry and organization best practices.
- Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs, integrate with 3rd party APIs, and create data pipelines using JavaScript and Typescript in a Google Cloud environment.
- Act as the SME for front-end web development on the Platform Team.
- Work with fellow developers, managers, and product owners to groom and estimate user stories ensuring a smooth development and implementation process.
- Participate in team agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, story grooming, sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5+ years experience building responsive websites using modern reactive frontend web frameworks such as React, Vue.js, Angular, etc
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience writing server-side JavaScript with Node.js
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience developing server-less or containerized event-driven web-applications in a major cloud-based environment such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
- In depth knowledge of Typescript/JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
- An understanding of common software design patterns and the ability to choose the right one for a given use case.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Deployment Manager, CloudFormation, or Serverless Framework
- Experience with Agile Development practices such as SCRUM or Kanban
PLUSES
- Experience integrating with e-commerce APIs
- GCP Associate or Professional Certification
- Advanced knowledge of React or Preact
- Familiarity with Oauth, SAML, or SSO authentication patterns
