Full Stack Developer Unity Hub

Unity Hub is the curtain-raiser for the Unity editor, services, and resources, where we are helping millions of game and real-time 3d developers to make amazing and innovative things.

In this role, you will be crafting and implementing a desktop application that streamlines the way users find, download and manage their Unity Projects and installations. Working closely with local team members and with Unity teams globally, you will help to bring the Unity ecosystem closer to the editor and provide an outstanding initial experience to the users!

What you’ll be doing

• Take an active role in all aspects of the software development of Unity Hub following standard methodologies of the industry
• Discuss and make decisions regarding the technical solutions and architecture
• Chip in with ideas to improve the final product
• Participate in the automation and testing strategy
• Develop and maintain an application used by more than a million users

What we’re looking for

• Experience with Javascript technologies and frameworks both on the server-side (Node.js) and the client-side (React)
• Understanding of software development and standard methodologies (continuous integration, source control management, code reviews)
• Experience with automation (end to end testing)
• Strong interest developing great user experience within software product
• Experience with Agile methodologies

You might also have

• Experience building cross-platform desktop applications (ElectronJS)
• A real passion for building usable, polished and enjoyable user experiences
• You have your own hobby projects (e.g. open-source projects, games, apps, etc)
