Full Stack Developer - Mobile Games

PerBlue is looking for a passionate Full Stack Software Developer to join our team of experienced game developers. We’re a quickly growing independent studio whose free-to-play midcore mobile games have been played by millions people around the world, including Disney Heroes: Battle Mode .
Our cross-functional and collaborative team has experience across the videogame industry. Headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin, we are also based remotely around the United States for an unmatched quality of life and work.
You’ll work side-by-side with a cross-functional team working on web development for an exciting new educational game project, working on user interface implementations and implementing backend logic. This is about pushing the limits of front-end and back-end technologies to create innovative experiences, both on the web and in our games.

Requirements and Qualifications
- 2+ years of programming experience
- Full stack web developer with strong C# experience.
- Experience creating delightful web experiences using HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.
- Experience with ASP.NET or other web application frameworks.
- Understanding of back-end systems including databases, network communications, and server logic.
- Version control systems, we primarily use Git
- A passion for all things programming with amazing technical skills
- Desire and willingness to learn new technology and tools
- Be results-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills in a highly collaborative environment
- A focus on product and an eye for quality
- Proactive and able to take ownership of tasks and projects
- Actively participate in PerBlue’s efforts to be a welcoming, inclusive and diverse workplace
Other Preferred Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- An interest and passion for educational games
- Experience with ASP.NET, EntityFramework, and SQL databases.
- React, Vue, or other modern frontend JavaScript framework.
- Experience with AWS deployments and services.
- Interest in exploring Blazor, Orleans and other cutting edge .NET technologies.
- Familiar with Unity or other game development technologies
- Prior experience at a game studio and/or shipping a game (mobile, console, or PC)
