The opportunity
At Unity Wallet, our mission is to build a localized and unified payment checkout experience for Unity's developers and publishers around the globe. One of our values is Best Idea Wins, so we‘re looking for people to experiment and challenge convention in order to achieve this.
This Frontend Software Engineer role is an opportunity to be part of a small, autonomous team in the early phases of development. Our technology stack is crafted for creating scalable services that allow us to grow with the business. For the frontend we primarily use React and TypeScript, integrating with our Payment APIs hosted in GCP. Stability, quality and robustness of code are essential as we are handling financial transactions.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop, maintain and operate high-quality web clients written in React
- Participate in technical discussions, complex problem investigations and collaborate on solutions with the team
- Interact directly with end-users, product managers and UX designers to iterate on features and solve issues when they arise
What we’re looking for
- Proficiency in at least one Javascript UI framework/library, preferably React
- Ability to clearly communicate your ideas, solutions and collaborate with teams
- Someone early in their career with a desire to learn and a quality oriented approach
You might also have
- Knowledge of how payment systems or financial services work
- Experience with GCP
- Knowledge of testing frontend components
