Job Description
As a Front-End Web Developer at Ubi MTL, you’ll join our 1492 Studio team to help design and implement the visuals of a new installment of the Is it Love? mobile game franchise.
What you’ll do
- Develop user-facing features within the episodic narrative-driven game genre.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI and UX designs.
- Work closely with back-end developers to optimize speed and scalability.
- Collaborate and communicate with interdependent teams across our studios.
- Deploy the application on iOS and Android + adapt it to new platforms.
Qualifications
What you bring
- An undergraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Around 3 years of Web or mobile development experience or related experience
- Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, NodeJS, and Javascript
- Knowledge of Android and iOS development tools & bug tracking software (e.g. Jira)
- Familiarity with mobile application development frameworks (e.g. React Native or Flutter) + solid understanding of UI & UX principles
- A collaborative spirit & plenty of flexibility
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Curiosity and a willingness to continue learning (new tools, new techniques – anything to develop best practices and bring about innovative ideas)
