Front-End Developer

Front-end Senior Job Description

Main Activities

• Work closely with engineers, UX designers, and product managers to develop friendly UI experiences;
• Work closely with engineers to architect and develop the best technical designs;
• Code on HTML, CSS and vanilla Javascript using React as framework;
• Develop/maintain operational rigor for the frontend of Wildlife products;
• Help with hiring;

Must have

• In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and other web development/production tools;
• Expert in JavaScript with an emphasis on Vanilla JS rather than helper libraries or frameworks;
• Ability to independently develop JavaScript prototypes which includes research and proof of concept development;
• Advanced knowledge of responsive web design;
• Experience with translating comps and wireframes into flexible and usable code;
• Experience using version control software(git) in multi-developer team;
• 5+ years’ experience working as a front-end developer;
• Eager to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
• Experience with web application development;
• Able to articulate their ideas to a team;
• Thrives when facing new challenges;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to interact professionally with a diverse group of people;
• Boundlessly creative and relentlessly attentive to detail;
• Low ego, collaborative, and open minded.

• Experience creating design systems;
• Experience designing B2B digital products;
• Experience testing front-end in a variety of ways.
