Freelance Graphic Designer

About the Role

Sago Mini is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our marketing team on a freelance basis to edit and create beautiful assets for our marketing materials. You will work closely with our team to develop new concepts as well as work within existing templates. This is a remote position. Working hours for this role are incredibly flexible and will be based off of your own schedule in combination with business requirements.

About You

You possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in order to review and produce images that reflect brand guidelines. ​You are highly organized, positive and detail oriented. Your colleagues often refer to you as a champion of consistency who has high standards of visual execution.

What You'll Be Doing

• Editing photos and videos for paid and organic channels
• Creating graphics and new design layouts
• Working within Sago Mini brand guidelines and templates
• Strong understanding of typography and a knack for beautifully executing concepts

• Working with and across teams and internal stakeholders to execute the Sago vision
• Perform other design related tasks as needed

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent work experience
• Experience creating visual assets for digital media
• Strongly skilled in Adobe Premiere, with After Effects experience a plus.
• Strong background and skillset in video and photo editing
• Impeccable attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
• Strong graphic design and layout skills
• Strong proficiency and experience with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Rush
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with motion graphic design and/or 2D animation experience an asset
• A self-starter with a strong sense of urgency
• Experience working with creative briefs and understanding project demands
• Comfortable taking art direction and incorporating feedback into deliverables
• Ability to be flexible and work on a variety of different projects
