Fraud Investigator (Contract)

Epic Games is looking for a contract Fraud Investigator on the Fraud Operations team. This role is an integral part of the Epic platform and you will help drive our digital services for millions of passionate gamers worldwide. We are looking for a high energy, intelligent and highly motivated individual with a can-do attitude to join us.

Responsibilities:

• Utilizing a wide array of tools to ensure the team objectives are all performed in a timely manner and with an ethical approach
• Reviewing investigations to detect and prevent fraudulent transactions
• Creating actionable items out of findings to drive improvement in fraud prevention and fraud detection measures
• Creating documentation on processes and materials to be shared with internal/external departments for reference and training purpose
• Partnering with Player Support teams to provide supporting analysis to influence fraud risk mitigation initiatives
• Providing support for Management on all relevant fraud risk analysis, including a continual definition of best metrics and reporting methods

Qualifications:

• Experience in Fraud Prevention in a Card Not Present environment is required
• Strong knowledge of Fraud Prevention Programs and Digital Services
• Must have a sound understanding of contemporary EU and US support center policy and practices, including Data Protection, PCI DSS, and chat storage
• Attention to detail and the ability to work logically, consistently and accurately
• Fluency in verbal and written English
• Experience in MS Products (Excel, Office suites, etc.)
• Strong experience in digital/online game/platform support preferred
• Proven experience in the entertainment or online industry preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with fluency in English essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
